A site that tries to give only the facts on a subject without all the self serving crap. You may not like what I say, but that's too bad. It's the truth as I see it.
I find myself more and more skeptical on comments made by Terri Schiavo’s parents. A week ago, they are telling everyone who would listen how bad Terri looks, her skin frail, and her lips bleeding. In fact, her brother said he would not allow his parents in to see Terri because of the condition she was in.
Then overnight we find out that the 11th Court of Appeals would look at the motion asking for the case to be retried, as well as a TRO, which would allow the tube to be reinserted. While the Court was looking at the motion, the Schindlers paraded a half dozen friends in front of the camera, saying how great Terri looked, that her skin was fine, she was not in any distress, it was nothing short of a miracle on how Terri got so much better, and it just happened to be while the courts were considering if they would retry the case.
It seems when things are not looking the best for the Schindlers, then Terri is on deaths door. However, when the Courts are considering something, then she looks great, and there is no problem with her health, essentially telling the courts that her health should not be an issue in deciding if they are going to allow the motion in.
While the parents and siblings have put this almost daily spin on her health, Terri’s husband has reported what seems to be the truth. He would say her lips are not bleeding, her skin while dry, is not breaking down. Just what you would expect to see at the time. Therefore, it seems to me no matter what side you take on this issue; do not believe what you hear from Terri’s parents concerning her health. Wait for her husband to make a statement on her condition, as it seems what you hear will be closer to the truth.

I'm confused. Is anyone in America stupid enough to believe her condition, after more than 10 days without food or water, is what we would consider good? I'd say to hell with what she looks like and think about what her body is going through. And the only thing making her folks look bad is their complete and total inaction in getting nourishment to their child. Begging the courts. Nice effort guys. Real nice. Trust in society to have the sense to keep someone breathing. Total disaster when it comes to parenting. And at their age, what do they have to lose? A few years freedom? Small price to pay when doing what's right.

Yea, if you believe that after what his lawyer has been spewing, I got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you!  Get a grip!  The parents are desperate as is the slime ball of a husband!  The truth is she is emaciated and dying.  Period.

One is desperate to save an innocent person, the other desperate to kill her.  SO you decide who to trust.  And the next time you are mugged, call a thug!

I would give her a day or two at most. I know she's "valiantly hanging on to life because she wants to live" or whatever...

When my dad was dying, it was exactly two weeks to the day that he stopped eating and drinking anything that he died...and a few days after he stopped urinating, which I guess Terri's already done. I guess I don't see what the point is anymore. I don't see anyway that she'd be able to make it after all of this...
